Meet the people who serve and lead our church family

Brian and Misielle were married on June 12th, 2010 and were blessed with their son Abel in 2013. They have served in ministry since 2012, teaching Sunday school at Calvary Chapel Borrego Springs. Brian led the youth group there from 2012-2019 and became Youth Pastor of Calvary Chapel Julian in November 2019. On March 31st, 2024 Brian became Senior Pastor. Misy is the Children's Ministry director.
They love the Lord and desire to share their passion and love for God and His people with those around them.
Gary Bastian is the Asst. Pastor of Calvary Chapel Julian, serving faithfully for over 30 years. He is also a Men's Group teacher/leader, Board member, and Worship team leader.
Chris volunteers as the Church secretary and is involved in the Greeters ministry and Women's Ministry.
Jackie runs the Women's groups at Calvary Chapel Ramona. As the wife of the founding Pastor, Mike Madigan, who went to be with the Lord in 2017, Jackie has been serving at CCJ from the very beginning.
Calvary Chapel Julian is part of the Calvary Chapel fellowship — a network of independent, Bible-believing churches that emphasize verse-by-verse teaching of God's Word.
